Hey, I’m Michael – nice to meet you.
I started building for the web in my early teens, mentored by a graphic designer. He taught me Photoshop and Illustrator and I built websites with Macromedia Dreamweaver on an old iMac G3 at his local design studio. I was hooked and already convinced a good idea was worth figuring out.
Years later, I ran my own studio, working across design, front-end development, branding, and client projects.
From there, my path moved into education, but I never stopped building. Alongside teaching, I have shipped tools that students and teachers actually use – internal systems, classroom workflows, web and Android apps – always for real users and messy constraints.
I’m especially interested in tools that help people think, learn, organise, and get useful work done. This portfolio is the build history behind that.
